I think I've eaten chocolate for breakfast every day the past week, because I'm HOME! And it's Christmas! I've also been catching up with friends a lot, hanging out with my grandpa, Seth, my family, etc., which has been just wonderful. Highlights of the week: seeing Seth and my dad at the airport! Dad is doing really well, by the way. He looks and acts just like himself. Oh, I love my dad! Jennie's two parties the first two nights after I came home, and getting to see my sisters and Ellen at them (the second night was a "tacky Christmas sweater party"--great fun). My grandpa coming into town--he's the best grandpa in the world, seriously. Dinner with Seth, his mom and the Shalom House ladies Tuesday night--seeing them exchanging Christmas gifts was so exciting. Sister night at the Melting Pot Wednesday night! We have so much fun together. Gosh. Seeing Rebekah and meeting my new fairy godson, Jonas, on Thursday. He is adorable--one of those babies with long eyelashes. Pretty boy. Getting to catch up with my dear friend Hannah, back from Sweden for Christmas. Catching up with / facebook-stalking people with my dear friend Ellen last night! Hanging out with Seth in general. Finding out I don't have mono! But I'm still taking my strep medication... or, I'm supposed to be. I always forget to.
Tongight Amy E.'s flying into Greenville from Chicago! She's back for Christmas. I've missed her this year. She'll spend the night here then go to Ashville in the morning.
