Aileen--Yay! A road trip! All we got to see were Lisbon, Sintra (which I loved!) and Coimbra, a little university town (it was ok). I've heard Porto is enchanting, if you get the chance to go there! Lisbon--I loved, and Sintra was just about 45 minutes away--well worth the trip, with the lushest mossy green hike up to a castle and other lovely sites! I've heard the southern coast of Portugal is unadulterated and amazing, too... I'd recommend Lisbon and Sintra for a long weekend, though. But, I wish I'd gotten to check out Porto... Have fun!!
